Bone scores 1,000 career points for Timberwolves

TEKOA — Heading into the final game of 2023 with 997 career points, senior Isaac Bone needed just three points to break 1,000 career points for the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves.

Bone would surpass the 1,000 point total in the first quarter of the Timberwolves game against the Jenkins (Chewelah) Cougars. The game was played on Friday, Dec. 29, with the game taking place in Jenkins.

The Timberwolves took a 27-26 lead to the second half before failing to score double-digit points in the third and fourth quarters, falling 45-66 against the Cougars.
