Myrna Louise McDonough

Myrna Louise McDonough, age 82, passed away March 7, 2024, after a long illness. She was born to Joe and Lena McDonough November 23, 1941, in Colfax, Washington. She was preceded in death also by a younger brother, Michael. She is survived by a brother: Patrick McDonough and his wife Lynne (Lothspeich) McDonough who live in Woodinville, Washington, a sister: Betty Marti who lives in Westlake, Loui, two nieces, two grand nieces, two nephews and two grand nephews.

Myrna grew up on the family farm in Steptoe. She graduated from Colfax High School and then attended x-ray school. She then moved to Spokane where she became an x-ray technician at Deaconess hospital later specializing in x-rays in the heart cath lab until she retired.

Myrna was a very loving and compassionate family member and friend. She was always there to care for family, especially her parents in their later years, and friends during difficult times.

She loved to travel with her close friends and visited many foreign countries. She loved photography and documented these trips and family occasions with many beautiful pictures. She was very creative and talented and sewed, made stained glass projects and drawings.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held in Colfax at Corbeill Funeral Home on Friday, March 15, at 1 PM.
