Keith David Danielson

May 17, 1962 - Mar. 14, 2024

Keith David Danielson was born May 17, 1962, to Donald and Phyllis Danielson in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The family would grow to include seven children.

Keith and his siblings were best friends and enjoyed many adventures camping, rock climbing and exploring. He graduated high school in Sandstone, Minnesota, and his love for the Lord took him to Big Sky Bible College in Lewistown, Montana, until the undeniable call to cowboy beckoned.

The greenhorn traveled and lived the buckaroo life in Wyoming, Oregon and Nevada, making lifelong friends and gaining knowledge and skills on the big ranches. Soon Keith became well known and respected for his way with horses.

In 1993, he married Carla and they began an adventure that lasted 30 years. They moved to Hooper, Wash., where together they built Hooper Crossing Ranch, breeding, training and selling 'plumb good horses.' Keith's reputation grew as he won countless horseback competitions, and he loved sharing his knowledge by giving horsemanship, trail and roping clinics, but his quiet, humble manner never changed. Keith's greatest joy was sharing the ranch life with others, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Carla, her children, Tim Mock (Erin), Gig Harbor, Wash., Megan Belfore (Ryan), Phoenix, Ariz., Andy Mock (Lindsay), Spokane, Wash., and his heart and soul, his grandchildren, Ali, Jill and Kate Mock, and Finn and Reece Belfore.

He is also survived by six siblings, Steve, Jim, Kevin, Sonja, Joy and Gary, numerous nieces and nephews, and an endless number of friends and acquaintances he has touched.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11 a.m., at the Hooper Store in Hooper, Wash.

Corbeill Funeral Home of Colfax is caring for the family.

Good ride Cowboy, good ride!
