Also celebrated Seth Lustig scoring 1,200 career points
COLFAX - The celebrations are seemingly endless in Colfax for the boys basketball team.
Colfax celebrated the undefeated, 29-0 state championship winning basketball team Thursday, March 21, with their end-of-season basketball banquet.
The banquet celebrated the C team, junior varsity, as well as varsity programs.
Players, staff, and family members all were in attendance at the event.
The event started with head coach Reece Jenkin thanking the family and coaches for their sacrifices and dedication to the season.
Jenkin then thanked the players.
"A special thank you to our players. This was an extremely fun year," said Jenkin.
Also celebrated at the event was senior point guard Seth Lustig, who was awarded with a basketball recognizing his incredible achievement of scoring 1,200 career points for the Bulldogs.
The Colfax varsity basketball team from the 2023-24 season will look to defend their state title next season.
With the seniors who graduate this year departing the program, the title defense will fall on the shoulders of the 2025 senior class, as well as the juniors and sophomores who should see more minutes next season due to the six graduating seniors who played this season.
