PULLMAN — Palouse Habitat for Humanity announced its 2024 Habitat hero award, who will be honored at the annual Beans ‘N’ Jeans fundraiser event on Saturday, April 20, at the SEL Event Center in Pullman.

The in-person Beans ‘N’ Jeans fundraiser event is sold out, but the community is invited to join by shopping an online auction which starts tomorrow, Saturday, April 13 through April 20.

Habitat for Humanity announced that the 2024 Habitat Hero Award went to Strom Electric.

“To have contractor support like we have with Strom Electric is critical to keeping Habitat homes affordable,” Construction Supervisor of Palouse Habitat for Humanity Nolan Corlett said, “Strom’s support has ensured Habitat homeowners have a safe and sound home.”

Corlett added that Strom has allowed incoming donations and funding to go that much further. “A Habitat Hero is one of many great ways to describe Strom Electric and the relationship we have had with them over many, many years,” Corlett said.

The Hero Award is given annually to a business, individual or organization whose support has made a significant contribution to meeting affording housing around the Palouse region.
