Slide into three-game losing skid with loss
COLFAX — The Colfax Bulldogs baseball team are facing a three-game losing-streak following their 5-2 loss against Orofino.
The game was played on Wednesday, April 10, in Orofino.
Colfax would out-hit Orofino 5-4 in the game, but could only produce two runs.
Four errors were committed by the Bulldogs defense compared to zero from Orofino.
After jumping to an early 2-0 lead, Orofino tied the game at two in the second, then would score three more runs to earn the three-run victory.
JP Wigen pitched the first five innings for Colfax, allowing four runs, three earned, on four hits with four walks and strikeouts.
Emeric Andersen led the Bulldog offense with two hits. Tyler Peterson and Cade Inderrieden each had an RBI.
Colfax will play next against Medical Lake. The game will be on Friday, April 19, in Colfax.
