COLFAX - The Colfax Bulldogs softball team bounced back after a loss to Kittitas with a 22-4 and 26-4 win against the Davenport Gorillas.
The games were played on Friday, April 12, in Davenport.
The first game saw the Bulldogs score 13 runs in the second inning to propel them to victory.
Kirsten Akesson pitched two innings for Colfax, picking up the win with no runs allowed on one hit and four strikeouts.
Harley Hennigar pitched two innings as well, allowing two runs on one hit.
Following Hennigar was Ava Swan, she allowed two runs on no hits and five walks.
Offensively, Colfax had 15 hits in the game, led by four from Grace Jones.
Akesson, Swan and Ainsley Imler each had two hits, with Imler leading the way with five RBIs. Keilena Nelson had two RBIs, as well as Akesson.
The second game was much of the same for Colfax as they earned the 26-4 victory, scoring 19 runs combined in the first three innings.
Gracie Bofto earned the win on the mound with three earned runs on four hits with two strikeouts in three innings.
Of the 17 total hits, Imler led the way with three hits for four RBIs. Jones had three RBIs on two hits, and Boft had two hits for four RBIs.
