WHITMAN COUNTY ELECTIONS

NOTICE OF CANDIDATE FILING DEADLINES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT, beginning April 29, 2024 and going through May 10, 2024 candidate filing by mail will occur.

Online candidate filing begins May 6, 2024 and ends on May 10, 2024. Positions open for filing in Whitman County will be available to view on the Whitman County website at whitmancounty. net

Candidate filing forms are available on the Whitman County website. To file by mail, you will need to fill out a candidate filing form online, print and sign the form and mail it to our office at Whitman County Elections, PO Box 191, Colfax, WA 99111. Online filing starts on May 6th at 8:00 am at the link provided on our Whitman County website and will close on May 10th at 5:00 pm. The last day to withdraw your filed candidacy is May 13, 2024. Should no person file for these open positions, a special three day filing will take place July 31st – August 2nd 2024.

The Whitman County Elections department will be holding its lot draw on May 10th at 5:15 pm.
