St. John Community Fair 4-H/FFA class results

ST. JOHN- The annual St. John Community Fair saw 4-H and FFA classes showing livestock with several winning Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion titles.

Fitting and showing began at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 26, with Beef, Sheep, Goats, and Swine. The results are as follows:

Beef

In 4-H Senior Class 1 the three winners were Issac Clinesmith, Cole Thornton-Schlunger and Matthew Clinesmith.

For 4-H intermediates class 2, the four winners were Bennet Repp, Garrett Kane, Taylee Taylor and Ava McKay.

Kasey Kane, Tinlee Taylor Brielle Clinesmith, Jace Shields and Austyn McKay were named winners in Juniors class 3.

For the 4H Fitting and showing grand or reserve Issac Clinesmith took the title of 4H Grand Champion fitting and showing, and Austyn McKay received 4H Reserve Grand Champion.

FFA class 4 had reserve grand champion Warran Repp, Grand Champion Lyla Kjack, and Maeve Korthuis.

In the beef market Class 2, FFA or 4H market steers had Brielle Clinsmith with a steer weighing 1187, Maeve Korthuis' at 1235, Matthew Clinesmith's at 1245, Isaac Clinesmith as reserve grand champion with a steer weighing 1285 and Bennet Repp as Grand Champion with a steer weighing 1321.

In Class 3, 1 st place went to Bennet Repp with a pospect steer at 1126 pounds, and coming in second was Garrett Kane with a steer weighing 930 pounds. Jace Shields steer weighed 720, Kasey Kane's 947, and Cole Thorton-Schluneger 's steer at 1018.

FFA Prospect steers class 1 had Warren Repp in 1 st with a steer weighing 1182, and Maeve Korthuis in second with a steer weighing 850. Lyla Kjack had a steer at 983 pounds.

Grand Champion of the PeeWee Showman was Rhett Sterman, and Reserve Grand Champion went to Paislee Davis. Other participants were Hallie Kerr, John Schrom, and Aubrey White.

Swine

In the Swine Fitting and showing class 1 4-H intermediate went first with Maleah Cook, Devin Kile, Loren Loomis and Addy Rocha.

Up next was Class 2, 4-H intermediate including Emma Loomis, Rylie Taylor Eli Cook and Morgan Logstrom.

For 4-H Juniors Class 3 included Raelynn Wigley-Waggoner, Bristol Willson, Lilly Clements and Mason Kile.

4H Reserve Grand Champion for Swine Fitting and Showing went to Lily Clements and Reserve Grand Champion went to Addy Rocha.

For FFA Class 4, Morgan Shawgo earned Grand Champion and Warren Repp took the title of Reserve Grand Champion. Adrienne Logstrom also showed swine.

For the Swine confirmation weights for the 4H Market Class 1 Rylie Taylor exhibited a 186 pound swine, Devlin Kile's was 205, Rylie Taylor's was 219, and Mason Kile's was 222.

In Class 2 weights were 224 for Loren Loomis first swine, and Loomis' second was at 225. Addy Rocha had a swine at 232 pounds, Emma Loomis exhibited one at 234 and Rylie Taylor's was at 236.

Addy Rocha had a swine at 240 in class 3. Also in Class 3, Emma Lommis had a swine weighed at 241, Raelynn W.W. had one at 245, Maleah Cook's at 247 and Bristol Willson at 255.

Lily Clements had two swine in Class 4 for the weights market with a swine at 274, and another at 275. Also in Class 4, Morgan Logstrom had a swine that weighed 283, Devin Kile's was 269, and Eli Cook's was 277.

In the 4-H Finals exhibitor Addy Rocha took home Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion.

In Class 1 for the FFA Market Swine Warren Repp took home Grand Champion for a swine that weighed 224, and Reserve Grand Champion for a swine that weighed 219. Morgan Shawgo had a swine weighed at 197, and one at 222. Adrienne Logstrom had a swine weighed at 278.

In Swine PeeWee Paislee Davis took home Grand Champion. Dotty Miller, Thomas Elkins, Cohen Howard, Levin Edminster and Hazel Dennis all participated.

In the Adult Swine Showing Rob Taylor took the title of Grand Champion and Kayla Howard was named Reserve Champion.

Poultry

For the 4-H Poultry fitting and showing Cassidy Eagy took the title of Grand Champion and Karl Schlomer was named Reserve Grand Champion.

In the open poultry fitting and showing Kaitlyn Nave took Grand Champion and Wyatt Schlomer was named Reserve Grand Champion. Delaney Eagy also participated.

In the 4-H Chicken confirmation two showed, Karl Schlomer and Cassidy Eagy. Schlomer showed in the 4-H Duck confirmation.

Kaitlyn Nave was named Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion for the open poultry confirmation. Schlomer and Eagy also showed in the open poultry confirmation.

Rabbit, Sheep, Goat

In the 4-H Rabbit fitting and showing Charlotte Ward took the title of Grand Champion, and Grand Champion in the 4-H Rabbit confirmation. Celeste Larsen took the title of Reserve Grand Champion in the rabbit confirmation.

In the Junior Class 1 4-H for the sheep fitting and showing Schlomer took the title of Grand Champion. Violet Dennis took the title of Grand Champion in the Class 2 FFA.

For 4-H Intermediate Junior in fitting and showing goat, Austyn McKay took home the title of Grand Champion and Tinlee Taylor was named Reserve Grand Champion. Taylee Taylor and Olivia Richmond also showed goats.

Grand Champion for the FFA fitting and showing was Tucker Taylor.

In Confirmation market sheep in the FFA Class 1 Grand Champion was Violet Davis.

For 4-H Prospect Sheep Schlomer took first and second place, and took first in 4-H Breeding.

In the Goat Confirmation and market Tucker Taylor took the title of Grand Champion.

First place for 4-H Prospect Confirmation and market was Austyn McKay and second place went to Olivia Richmond.

In 4-H Breeding DOE, Tinlee Taylor took first place and Taylee Taylor took second place. Olivia Richmond also participated.

For PeeWee Sheep Wyatt Schlomer was named Grand Champion and Ellie Schlomer took the title of Reserve Grand Champion.

Grand Champion for the PeeWee Goat was Hesstyn Miller, and Reserve went to Gini Shields. Paisley Davis and Case Miller also showed goats.

Non-Animal

For non-animals, Adult Best of Show was Ashley Davis and Youth Best of Show was Sophie Anderson.
