Garfield-Palouse Vikings show at meet

PALOUSE — The final league meet of the 1B 2024 track and field season saw the Garfield-Palouse Vikings girls team take first overall.

The St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse Eagles would shine as well on the day, taking second overall for both the boys and girls divisions.

The meet took place on Tuesday, April 30, in Pomeroy.

The Viking girls scored 137 team points, followed by the Eagles with 87 team points.

The Oakesdale Nighthawks had 43 team points for fifth place, and the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves scored 35 team points.
