Alleged drunk driver crashes on US 195

PULLMAN — A 32-year-old Pullman woman is facing charges after allegedly driving drunk on U.S. Highway 195, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 15.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), Chelsea Davis, 32, of Pullman, was driving a SUV southbound, north of Pullman, when her vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, resulting in a head-on collision with a sedan.

The sedan’s driver, Katrina Siddons, 44, of Potlatch, sustained injuries and was transported to Pullman Regional Hospital. Davis was also injured and taken to Pullman Regional Hospital.

According to WSP, Whitman County Fire District 12 volunteers out of Pullman responded to the crash with assistance from the City of Pullman Fire Department.

Davis is facing potential charges of felony vehicular assault and driving under the influence (DUI) as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
