Rosalia house lost in a blaze

ROSALIA - The Rosalia Fire Department District 7 was dispatched for a house fire off U.S. Highway 195 near the rest area at approximately 5:45 p.m., on Friday, May 24.

Rosalia Fire Chief Laura Lautenschlager said that the fire was fully involved upon the first unit's arrival, and they were able to put it out and back in service by 2 a.m. on Saturday, May 25.

Lautenschlager said that the fire was caused by a candle and that the house was a total loss.
