Fatal crash kills 25 year old man

Pullman man killed in rollover crash

PULLMAN — A local man was killed in the late evening on Monday, June 10, after he was ejected from his vehicle in a rollover crash.

Reports say deputies from the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office, Troopers from the Washington State Patrol, and personnel from Fire Districts 12, 14 and Lewiston Fire all responded to the report of a single-vehicle accident near MP6 on Wawawai Pullman Road.

Casey St. Clair, 25, of Pullman, lost control of the 2004 F250 Truck he was driving when he failed to negotiate a turn in the road. As a result, the vehicle left the roadway rolling several times before coming to rest in an adjacent field. During the accident, St. Clair was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

St. Clair was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Speed and alcohol are believed to have been contributing factors.

An investigation is ongoing.
