Judge Hart receives award for service

COLFAX — A local judge has been awarded by the Washington Judicial Association.

Whitman County District Court Judge John Hart recently received the District and Municipal Court Judicial Association’s Presidential Award.

The award recognizes volunteerism, dedication and service to the organization.

Judge Hart has served on several association committees and was Dean of the Washington Judicial College last year.
