Colfax golf carts stolen

COLFAX -- Three golf carts were stolen on Sunday, June 16, from the Colfax Golf Course.

According to the Whitman County Sheriff's Office, the case is under investigation. "The golf course and the golf carts. We're not the only ones. Odessa was hit on May 30, two carts got stolen out of there. There's some other Golf Courses up north that have had this, so I know that there's a lot of people working on this. It's unfortunate. We got three golf carts and golf clubs taken from our people down there," Mayor Jim Retzer said.

The Colfax Police Department is attempting to locate and identify a white truck and its occupants, who were involved in the theft of three golf carts from the Colfax Golf Course over the weekend.
