Man, infant and fiancé still missing

Law enforcement issues search warrant

PULLMAN —The man who allegedly fled to Mexico with his infant daughter and fiancé is still missing. Law enforcement have issued a search warrant on the residence of Aaron Daniel Aung, 21, of Moscow, Idaho.

Law enforcement officials stated that the warrant allowed them to search the property’s residence, vehicles and individuals connected to it. The search aimed to gather evidence and information regarding the disappearance of Aung and his daughter, Seraya Aung Harmon, 2.

The Pullman Police Department issued a warrant for Aung’s arrest on Wednesday, June 5, for Custodial Interference in the first degree.

Aung violated a Latah County District Court parenting plan involving custody of his daughter, Seraya Aung Harmon, with the child’s mother, Samara Harmon, of Pullman.

Seraya was supposed to be returned to her mother’s custody in Pullman on June 3, 2024. However, Aaron Aung failed to return the child, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant. Police later suspected that Aung and his fiancé, Nadia Cole, 21, of Port Angeles, Wash., had taken the child to Mexico.

Cole was reported missing to the Port of Seattle Police Department on Tuesday, May 28.

Cole recently graduated from Washington State University (WSU). She disappeared from Seattle International Airport the same day Aung and Seraya went missing from Moscow, Idaho.

The search was conducted by the Pullman Police Department, Moscow Police Department, Idaho State Police, Latah County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI.

Anyone with information about Seraya’s location is asked to call the Pullman Police Department or their local law enforcement agency.
