Serving Whitman County since 1877
Feb. 15, 1943 - June 22, 2024
Lori Eldridge was born on February 15, 1943, in San Diego, California. She passed away on June 22, 2024, in Colfax, Washington, after battling an aggressive cancer that was only slightly stronger than the amazing woman she was. A devout Christian, loving wife of Sylvan Rimbey and devoted mother of five children with first husband Steve Eldridge (deceased), as well as niece Sarah Coty, raised and loved as her own.
Preceded in death by sons Dan, Wayne, George and daughter Cindy. Lori is survived by husband Sylvan of Colfax, daughter Sarah Wilson and daughter Carol Krause as well as 11 grandchildren, and a growing number of great-grandchildren.
Lori was an extremely hard-working woman dedicated to God and family. She was a life long gardener providing both food for the table and beauty for life, she was a seamstress for eight years, led worship with her guitar for small bible study groups for eight years at Spokane Calvary Chapel, and currently attended 1st Baptist Church in Colfax. She was a landscape painter, ran a craft consignment shop for four years and has been self employed as a web designer for the last 23 years. Lori, while sad to leave her loved ones was looking forward to going to heaven and working in some amazing gardens above.
We love and miss you mom!
