Zona Robertson

Zona Robertson, 83, passed away on June 2, 2024, in Colfax, Washington. She was born on February 25, 1941, in Wallace, Idaho.

Zona retired after 47 years of continuous employment as a multiple line insurance agent for Nationwide Insurance and as a real estate appraiser, both in Washington and Idaho. By 1967, Zona's marriage had ended and she had met and married the love of her life, George Robertson of Lewiston, Idaho. The couple were very involved in auto racing. Most weekends you would find the family in their motorhome towing George's race car to somewhere in the United States or Canada. They changed their way of life in 1979, George retired from racing and they sold properties in Lewiston to purchase a cattle ranch near Rosalia, Wash.

Zona was preceded in death by her beloved parents Ernest and Barbara Cramer, elder sister Glory McGregor, and soulmate George Robertson.

She is survived by long-time companion Fred Coleman and her children; John Lile (Spokane, Wash.), Deborah Labish (Cheney, Wash.), Mark Robertson (Natalia, Tex.), foster son Jay Hambert (Tacoma, Wash.); sisters, Barbara "Bobbie" Szepieniec (Lublin, Wis.) and Pearl "Marie" (Dechant, Ala.). She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a small, private graveside service at Greenwood Memorial Terrace in Spokane, Wash. Corbeill Funeral Homes in Colfax is caring for the family.
