CALL FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Pullman at the Public Works Department, Attention: Cristin Reisenauer, 190 SE Crestview Street, Building A, Pullman, WA 99163, until 10:00 a.m. local time, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 for the following:

Project: Sidewalks 2024

Contract No .: 24-02

This project consists of removing and replacing approximately 300 square yards of cement concrete sidewalk (a combination of 4-inches and 5½-inches in thickness); constructing approximately 142 square yards of new 4-inch thick sidewalk and 44 square yards of new 5½-inch thick sidewalk, including two curb ramps; removing and replacing as much as 185 linear feet of cement concrete curb and gutter; grinding approximately 647 linear feet of raised panel edges; constructing approximately 70 square feet of new modular block retaining wall with 36 linear feet of 4-foot high black vinyl-coated chain link fence; installing a rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) pedestrian crossing system at Fairmont Drive; and other miscellaneous related work associated with sidewalk construction, maintenance, and repair in Pullman, Washington.

A certified check, bid bond, or cashier’s check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany the proposal.

The local agency hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, political affiliation, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, disabilities, or any other protected status in consideration for an award.
