Pullman City Code Title 17: Zoning
NOTICE is hereby given that the Pullman Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. to consider proposed code changes related to Pullman City Code Title 16: Environment and Pullman City Code Title 17: Zoning. The hearing will be held in Council Chambers at Pullman City Hall, located at 190 SE Crestview Street, Building A.
Title 17: Zoning Code for the City of Pullman is getting fully updated, the last full update was done in 2003. Major updates will be changing the language to be more understandable, updating images, creating new images, moving Historic Preservation to Title 17 from Title 16, moving Floodplain Management District from Title 17 to Title 16, and creating new code sections on for short term rentals and accessory dwelling units. The most current version of the updates can be found on the City’s website under News and finding “Zoning Code Overhaul.”
All interested persons or their authorized agents are encouraged to appear at the public hearing to testify for or against the proposed code changes. Interested parties may also submit written comments regarding this matter to the Planning Division at City Hall prior to the public hearing or by emailing Ariel Medeiros, ariel.medeiros@pullman-wa.gov. Please be advised that oral comments at the hearing may be subject to a time limit. At the public hearing, the Planning Commission will accept testimony on the proposed changes and then recommend to the City Council that the proposed code changes be approved, modified, or denied.
Pertinent documents related to this case are available for public review at the Community Development Department at City Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Pullman City Hall is accessible for persons with disabilities; please inform the Community Development Department if you will need any special accommodations to attend the meeting.
