Dec. 29, 1944 - July 21, 2024
Our family is saddened to announce that our father, Lowell Brown, 79, of Lewiston, passed away the afternoon of Sunday, July 21, 2024.
Lowell was born Dec. 29, 1944, to Larry and Evelyn Brown in Fallston, Md. He lived and attended school in Uniontown for most of his youth, and graduated from Colton High School with the class of 1963.
After a stint in the U.S. Army, Lowell married Geri Jackson of Genesee in 1965. This union welcomed two children, Teri and Aaron. He then attended police training and began patrol in Moscow in 1968. In 1970, Lowell married Melissa Tenney of Moscow. This union welcomed a son, Corryn. He held a variety of occupations before eventually purchasing the Chevron station in Colfax, where he worked until he retired.
Our Dad enjoyed a lifelong love of classic hot-rods and participating in car shows. Upon retirement, he and his wife of over 50 years, Melissa, treasured their many winters in Oahu, Hawaii. Waikiki became very special to him from the beginning.
Lowell was predeceased by his wife, Melissa Brown. He is survived by his brother Larry Brown, his sister, Lynne Lucas and his sister, Laurel Mickelsen. He is also survived by his daughter, Teri (Brown) Meier, his son, Aaron Brown, and his son, Corryn Brown. He was blessed with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Dad's wishes to be scattered at sea in Waikiki will be fulfilled later this year, therefore there will be no public services.
He will be sorely missed, but we can be assured that he has joined Melissa and is now at peace.
