Letter for Commissioners

I am writing to our commissioners to respectfully plead to do SOMETHING to stop this travesty of ruining the beautiful, productive Palouse Country. Please remember that your were elected for the people of Whitman County, not the outside money grabbers that want to ruin our area with our tax dollars for their gain.

They are lying in every way. Saying they support our communities, right, they are throwing around a few dollars to make it look like they care about our towns. These turbines are worthless eyesores & most certainly are not “green”.

Those of us that live here & love our land, the peace, the beauty, the food it produces, are heartbroken that the love of money threatens all this. The farmland will be forever lost in one of the most productive areas in the world.

Where will the tax money come from the when the turbines are useless & the land is ruined? Has anyone thought about that?

We have a governor that doesn’t care about eastern Washington, only about his political agenda. One individual should not have that much power.

To the landowners that signed up, I don’t consider them the honor of being called “farmers”, how is it possible to be that uncaring about your neighbors, your land, the Palouse country, wildlife? This is greed beyond belief. It’s very sad. I predict the day will come when you will say “what have I done”.
