COLFAX – The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from Aug. 13 to Aug 19:

Aug. 13

12:55 a.m.- Davis Road and Bowen Road, Lamont. Report of suspicious people laying in the roadway. The subjects were contacted and said they were star gazing and didn’t realize they were on a county road. The subjects then left the area.

5 a.m.- 411 North Mill Street, Sheriff’s Office, Spokane County Jail, Colfax. Case number requested for an inmate transport.

6:12 a.m.- Steptoe Butte State Park Road, Oakesdale. Welfare check.

6:53 a.m.- North Washington Street, Tekoa. Traffic violation.

6:54 a.m.- Spokane County Jail, Spokane. Case number requested for a warrant arrest.

7:48 a.m.- 411 North Mill Street, Sheriff’s Office, Colfax. Case number requested for transporting an inmate for medical treatment.

10:05 a.m.- Hume Road and Scholz Road, on Hume, area, Colfax. Report of a disabled semi on the road. Semi was gone upon deputy arrival.

10:29 a.m.- Charles Tobin Road, area, by railroads, Hooper. Report of cattle near the roadway.

2:29 p.m.- University of Idaho, Moscow. Assisted the Latah County Sheriff with attempting to locate an inmate that walked away from a jobsite.

3:39 p.m.- SR 195, South curves northbound into Colfax, Colfax. Report of a traffic violation, deputy unable to locate vehicle.

4:25 p.m.- School Road, Endicott School, Endicott. Burlary alarm.

5:44 p.m.- Pullman. Request for contact.

7:01 p.m.- Colfax Airport Road and Almota Road, Colfax. DWLS 3rd degree, Joshua D. Salmon, 22, cited and released.

9:25 p.m.- Northwest Larry Street and North Grand Avenue, Pullman. Report of a medical emergency.

11:56 p.m.- East Bartlett Street, Oakesdale. Juvenile problem.

Aug. 14

9:54 a.m.- Charles Tobin Road, LaCrosse. Cattle in the roadway.

1:21 p.m.- North Mill Street, Colfax. Level 1 sex offender registered.

4:12 p.m.- Dewey Road and Wiltzius Road, Lamont. Civil complaint.

6:33 p.m.- Wawawai Road milepost 32, Clarkston. Cattle in the roadway.

6:51 p.m.- Farmington Road, Tekoa. Vehicle blocking the roadway.

Aug. 15

4:44 a.m.- Wilma Drive, Clarkston. Suspicious vehicle.

6:54 a.m.- Spokane County Jail, Spokane. Case number for transport.

8:51 a.m.- Grove Road, Endicott. Report of a family dispute, deputy contacted both subjects involved.

11:07 a.m.- SR 26, milepost 26, Colfax. Agency assist WSP.

12:29 p.m.- Kitzmiller Road, Pullman. Case number accident hit and run.

12:50 p.m.- Spokane County Jail, Spokane. Case number for a transport.

1:08 p.m.- SR 195 milepost 50, Colfax. Other law enforcement calls.

2:08 p.m.- SR 195 milepost 12, Colton. Agency assist report of a large plastic container in the roadway.

5:34 p.m.- Hodges Road and SR 271, Oakesdale. Report of a one vehicle non-injury accident.

6:18 p.m.- Wawawai Road milepost 33, Clarkston. Cows in the roadway.

6:56 p.m.- East Main Street, Farmington. Other law enforcement calls.

7:42 p.m.- SR 271 milepost 6, Rosalia. DWLS.

8:08 p.m.- South Main Street, Colfax. Report of a suspicious person.

Aug. 16

6:36 a.m.- West Main Street, Garfield. Report of a suspicious subject in the area. One subject was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

12:12 p.m.- Tennessee Street, Steptoe. Report of a domestic dispute, all involved parties contacted and the altercation was verbal only.

12:47 p.m.- SR 26 and Fairgrounds Road, Colfax. Agency assist WSP.

2:26 p.m.- North Mill Street, Coflax. Transportation detail.

2:48 p.m.- South Summit Avenue, Rosalia. Lockout.

3:44 p.m.- SR 26 milepost 118, LaCrosse. Loose cow, cattle owner contacted.

5:27 p.m.- East Front Street and North Main Street, Albion. DWLS, cited and released.

11:38 p.m.- Colfax Airport Road and SR 26, Colfax. Broken-down vehicle.

Aug. 17

10:34 a.m.- West James Street, Colfax. Concerned citizen.

12:30 p.m.- Granite Road, Colfax. Marine event.

12:54 p.m.- SR 26 milepost 132, Colfax. Sheriff’s Deputy, Fire, and EMS responded for a one vehicle roll over. One subject was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

2:34 p.m.- North East Street, Albion. Found dog.

3:10 p.m.- South Mill Street, Colfax. Harassment report.

3:14 p.m.- North Railroad Avenue, Uniontown. Deputy contacted a citizen with questions about selling a motorcycle.

4:29 p.m.- Illia Dunes, Clarkston. Marine event, assist Garfield County Sheriff’s Office.

4:40 p.m.- South High Street, Uniontown. Deputy and EMS responded for a fall. One patient was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

4:50 p.m.- Whitman Road, Pullman. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the area.

5:26 p.m.- Wawawai Road milepost 32, Clarkston. Stray cows in the road, cattle owner contacted.

6:45 p.m.- SR 270 milepost 8, Pullman. Burglary alarm.

7:09 p.m.- SR 26 milepost 97, LaCrosse. Agency assist WSP.

12:46 a.m.- Fairgrounds Road, Colfax. Agency assist WSP.

1:25 a.m.- Colfax. Contacted a citizen reference a missing vehicle.

9:31 a.m.- Northeast Broadway Avenue and Northeast Grouse Street, Malden. Vehicles speeding through town.

2:09 p.m.- East Cooper Street, Colfax. Report of a stray dog loose in the area.

2:21 p.m.- Pine City Malden Road, Pine City. Report of damaged grass.

2:39 p.m.-Southwest Panorama Drive, Pullman. Cardiac arrest.

6:26 p.m.- West Wall Street, Colfax. Citizen with questions.

7:24 p.m.- SR 271 milepost 4, Rosalia. Domestic dispute. Determined to be verbal only.

7:27 p.m.- Southeast Kamiaken Street, Pullman. Agency assist the Pullman Police Department.

8:03 a.m.- SR 272 and Hilty Road, Colfax. One vehicle rollover accident.

9:57 a.m.- SR 195 and North Cedar Street, Colfax. Disabled vehicle partially in roadway.

5:18 p.m.- North Crosby Street, Tekoa. Civil calls.

7:01 p.m.- SR 128 milepost 1, Clarkston. Illegal burning.

9:31 p.m.- Altergott Road, Garfield. Combine broken down in the middle of the road.

10:01 p.m.- SR 272, Palouse. Domestic dispute.
