Middle Housing Grant Pubic Engagement:
PUBLIC NOTICE
Middle Housing Grant Public Engagement:
The City of Pullman received grant funding from the Washington State Department of Commerce to look into how to incentivize middle housing within the City. Part of the grant requirements is public engagement. The City is requesting public engagement through use of a survey and public open houses to discuss potential changes to the Pullman City Zoning Code. During the public engagement events, the public will be asked to rank potential code changes and vote on types of middle housing that they support in their neighborhoods.
Five open houses in September and October have been scheduled to gather input from the Pullman community about incentivizing middle housing. Community members are welcome to come to any of the open houses to discuss middle housing, give feedback on potential code changes, to learn about middle housing, or to ask questions. If you would like to give input please email Assistant Planner Ariel Medeiros at ariel.medeiros@pullman-wa.gov, call 509-338-3314, or come to Pullman City Hall.
