Downtown Pullman Association seeks executive director successor

Nash takes job in Walla Walla

PULLMAN — The Downtown Pullman Association (DPA) is seeking applications for a new executive director following the departure of Mallory Nash, who is moving to the Downtown Walla Walla Foundation in the same role.

Nash, who has led the DPA since July, will assist with the transition to her successor over the coming weeks.

The application process is open and will remain so until the position is filled. Applications will be reviewed upon receipt.

The DPA website provides a detailed job description, including organizational structure, qualifications and compensation.

Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume with three references, and a brief writing sample to [email protected], using the subject line “Downtown Pullman Association ED Application.”

During her tenure, Nash spearheaded initiatives to advance the DPA’s goal of revitalizing downtown Pullman by implementing the Washington State Main Street Program’s placemaking approach, aiming for Designated Main Street Community status.

She secured funding, enhanced volunteer involvement, and increased community engagement through downtown events and social media.
