Find 'Gobi' at the library

PULLMAN — The Neill Public Library is hosting “Finding Gobi: A Little Dog with a Big Heart” author Dion Leonard from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18.

The book is a New York Times, Sunday Times and International Bestseller telling the trust story of Leonard, an ultra-marathon runner who crosses paths with a stray dog while competing in a 155 miles race through the Gobi Desert in China.

The dog, earning the name of Gobi kept pace with Leonard for approximately 80 miles over the Tian Shan Mountains, across the villages and over the black sands of the Gobi Desert.

The free event at the 210 N. Grand Ave. is open to the public who is invited to get copies of the book autographed.
