SJEL Eagles continue sports season

The St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse Eagles football team lost to Wilbur-Creston-Keller, 64-0, on Thursday, Sept. 12. The Wildcats scored 56 points in the first half to instigate the mercy-rule running clock.

The next game for the Eagles will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 in Wallace, Idaho. Their next home game will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, against Tekoa-Rosalia.

The St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse volleyball team fell to Oakesdale, 3-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Set scores were 25-10, 25-13 and 25-8.

For the Eagles, Catalina Torres had three aces, Sophie Anderson had 11 assists, Kate Hergert had two kills, Avery Flemming had two blocks and Chloe Waddell had five digs.

For Oakesdale, Parker Davis had five aces and 11 assists, Bradyn Henley had 10 kills and five digs and Grace Perry had two blocks. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse went on to play in the SunDome tournament in Yakima on Friday, Sept. 13.
