Jeanne Grogan

Jan. 28, 1993 - Sept. 19, 2024

Jeanne passed away on September 19, 2024, in Spokane, Washington, with her children by her side. She was born in Spokane, Washington, on January 28, 1933. Jeanne and her twin sister, Jeannette, were the first babies to use an incubator at Sacred Heart Hospital. Her parents were Charles and Ellen Proctor. Jeanne graduated from Cheney High School in 1951 and met and married Robert Grogan in 1954. They farmed and had four children, Richard, Renea, Ronald and Michael.

Jeanne had a very positive and supportive spirit. She was always there to support her entire family, kids, their friends and the community. She was a warrior and got through a lot of tough circumstances, including the loss of her eye sight due to macular degeneration. She absolutely loved being a Grandma and Great Grandma.

She loved traveling to the Oregon Coast with her family, cards/game nights, casino hops and was an outstanding cook. After the loss of her husband in 2014, she finally got to go to Hawaii and loved it. She was a huge Gonzaga basketball fan, loved animals, her neighbors and Snoopy.

She was survived by her children Richard Grogan, Ronald Grogan (Jennifer), Renea Grogan, Michael Grogan (Sherry); grandsons Robert Huber (Emily) and Travis Huber (Haley); granddaughters Britney Brownlee and Megan Brownlee, great grandsons Ricardo Coye-Brownlee, Orion Huber-Hawks, great granddaughter Olivia Huber, her twin sister, Jeannette Ham, nephew Larry Ham (Debbie) and niece Lorna Spear (Sam).
