Timberwolves volleyball falls to Nighthawks, Vikings

TEKOA - The Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves volleyball team dropped a pair of matches last week, falling to the Oakesdale Nighthawks on Tuesday, Sept. 17, and the Garfield-Palouse Vikings on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Against Oakesdale, the Timberwolves fell to the Nighthawks, 3-0, with set scores of 25-16, 25-19 and 25-11.

After falling in the first set, the Timberwolves fought hard to keep set two within reach. An ace by Tekoa-Rosalia senior Briley Smith tied the set at 14-14. Oakesdale then got four kills in the next five points, making it difficult for the Timberwolves to recover, until the Nighthawks...
