Timberwolves bounce back

Tekoa-Rosalia wins two in a row

TEKOA - After falling to still-undefeated teams Oakesdale and Garfield-Paloue, the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves are retaking the volleyball court.

The Timberwolves defeated Waitsburg, 3-1, on Tuesday, Sept. 24, and beat the St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse (SJEL) Eagles, 3-1, on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Set scores for the match against Waitsburg were unavailable at Press time.

Against the Eagles, set scores were 28-26, 25-22, 13-25 and 25-21.

Tekoa-Rosalia improved to 3-4 on the season. Next up, the Timberwolves face a four-match homestand this week. They played the Colton Wildcats on Tuesday, Oct. 1, and have a match against the Pomeroy Pirates at 6 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 3, for their Homecoming match.

The Timberwolves will have a doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 5, when they play Selkirk at 11 a.m. and Cusick at 12:30 p.m.
