Pullman moves to 9-2 on the season

PULLMAN - After falling to West Valley of Spokane, 8-0, on Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Pullman Greyhounds girls soccer team returned to form and defeated the Deer Park Stags, 2-1, on Thursday, Oct. 10.
The win against Deer Park came from the shooting prowess of junior Sydney Johnson as she scored both goals for the Greyhounds. Johnson scored a goal in the sixth minute to put Pullman on the board and just three minutes later scored again.
Deer Park stifled the Greyhound shutout by scoring a goal in the 70th minute. The Pullman defense held strong and Pullman came away with the 2-1 victory.
