Port of Whitman County Invites Public Input on Draft Cleanup Grant Application

Public Review and Comment Period Open November 7-13

The Port of Whitman County will hold a public hearing at the Port Commission Meeting on November 7, 2024, to solicit comments on the Port’s draft Environmental Protection Agency FY 2025 Cleanup Grant Application, including a draft Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives. The application will be available for public review and comment November 7-13.

How to Comment on the Draft Application

Written comments may be submitted by email to communications@portwhitman.com or by mail to Port of Whitman County, 302 N. Mill Street, Colfax, WA 99111 through November 13. The Port Commission will hold a public hearing at its regular Port Commission Meeting on November 7, 2024 at 10am to hear verbal comment. The meeting will be held at the Port office, 302 N. Mill Street, Colfax WA 99111 and online at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86590903284.
