Endorses Sandberg for judge

I am asking you to join me in voting for Roger Sandberg for Whitman County Superior Court Judge. I have worked under the Superior Court for many years as the Juvenile Court Administrator and have a very good idea of what it takes to be a successful as a judge. It is evident from Roger’s impressive list of endorsements that his peers also overwhelmingly agree he is the better candidate. That is not a “good old boy” network or some other “set up”; it is people who work in the field and participate in the court frequently observing the expertise, the decorum and the temperament of both candidate and find Roger Sandberg to be the superior.

There have also been thinly veiled criticisms of past judges and general issues of fairness in the courtroom. I am sure the rhetoric resonates with folks who have not prevailed in a court hearing, but just because you lost doesn’t mean it wasn’t fair. Additionally, all attorneys lose at some point — a motion, a trial, something. Are they continually respectful to the court? Do they accept the lose with dignity and decorum in the courtroom, the hallway? Roger Sandberg wins or loses with humility and respect for the process and the participants. This will carry over beautifully in dealing with the general stress and sometimes frustrating parties in the Superior Court case.

Roger has an amazing reputation which he has absolutely earned. Let’s make him the next Superior Court Judge for Whitman County.

Sherri Aune,

Colfax
