Vikings varsity girls take 2nd, boys 3rd

SPOKANE VALLEY - Area 1B cross country teams participated in the District 6 Championships at Valley Christian High School on Friday, Oct. 18.
Colton, Tekoa-Rosalia, Garfield-Palouse and St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse all fielded runners.
The Garfield-Palouse varsity girls team took second place at the meet with 43 points. The Vikings were just five points behind first-place finishers Valley Christian with 38 points.
The Vikings boys varsity team placed third with 91 points and the Colton boys varsity team took fourth with 123 points.
