NOTICE OF DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE

NOTICE is hereby given that the city of Pullman has issued a Preliminary Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) pursuant to the rules of the State Environmental Policy Act for a proposal submitted by Morgan Porter, Civil Engineer, City of Pullman which involves:

The project consists of the construction of approximately 6,000 linear feet of 16” diameter water main line along the north side of Terre View Drive and Airport Road, from 1,400 FT east of Northwood to the existing facilities at the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport.

The proposal begins 1,400 linear feet east of the intersection of Northwood and Terre

View Drive, and continues east, through Washington State University’s horse fields via an agreed-upon easement, and northeast along the north side of Airport Road, until it turns to go across to the south side of the street and connects to existing 16” water main on the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport property within the northwest quarter of Sections 33 and 34, Township 15 North, Range 45 East W.M.

Those who wish to comment to the city regarding the issuance of the DNS must address their remarks to the Responsible Official, RJ Lott, AICP Director of Community Development, by 5:00 p.m. on November 12, 2024.
