Authorities search for missing man

Last seen driving a 2006 gray Ford 500

MOSCOW, Idaho, — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating Daniel Lagmay, 28, who went missing early Friday morning after his vehicle ran out of gas on the road between Moscow and Pullman.

Lagmay was last seen on Friday, Oct. 25, and is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, approximately 125 pounds, with a distinctive neck tattoo. He was reportedly driving a gray 2006 Ford 500 at the time.

The Nez Perce Tribe has issued a public alert on its Facebook page, urging anyone who may have seen Lagmay or his vehicle to contact the authorities.

Moscow Police are leading the investigation and are calling for anyone with information about his whereabouts to reach out.

“We got a report of this individual,” said Moscow Police Chief Anthony Dahlinger. “He is an adult male, and he apparently kind of left and did not tell anyone. I do not have a lot of information on what he said to family. Our officers are certainly looking into it. We do not have information that would point to this person being in danger or a danger to others.”

When asked about any leads in the investigation, Dahlinger noted that they have limited information.

“The report that came in sounded like a concerned family member. They said he hadn’t returned, and it sounded like there were some potential messages on Facebook that were a concern,” he added.

Details about Lagmay’s vehicle, including its current location, remain unknown. However, Dahlinger emphasized that the police are treating the case with concern, especially given the family’s worries.

“This person has some family members that are concerned,” Dahlinger stated.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Moscow Police Department immediately as the search continues.
