Tekoa Veteran honored with Quilt of Valor

TEKOA - A Vietnam Army Veteran from Tekoa was honored for his service on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Volunteers from the Greater Spokane Quilts of Valor program gave a presentation at the Harvester Restaurant to honor Stanley 'Joe' Horlacher, of Tekoa, on Sunday, Oct. 27, for his service during wartime.

Horlacher was joined during the presentation by nine family members and received a quilt in appreciation for his service and sacrifice with distinct Army-themed patriotic fabrics.
