COLFAX— Whitman County District Court reported the following criminal case dispositions from Nov. 1

Nov. 1

• Tyson Zinkgraf, driving under the influence, released from custody, personal recognizance conditions no possession of or consumption of alcoholic beverages or controlled substances. Must drive with a valid license. Defendant shall appear for mandatory pretrial on Dec. 6, in Colfax, bond exonerated.

• Chase Christiensen pleads guilty to minor in possession, under 21 in public exhibiting the effects of having consumed liquor, sentenced to 60 days of jail, 59 suspended, $500 in fines, $250 suspended. Unsuspended jail may be converted to 12 hours community service. Payment of fines totalling $593 due by April, 30, 2025, perform community service in lieu of $550, credited at $17 an hour and approved by probation department and completed by Oct. 31, 2025. No criminal violations of law, supervised probation for 6 months, obtain an expanded alcohol assessement with filed proof by Nov. 29, 2024. Attend driving under influence victim panel within a month, granted a dollar-for-dollar credit, applied to fine, for any out-of-pocket expenses paid for evaluation, and victim impact panel. Defendant may earn up to 6 hours of community service providing designated rides home to a friend or family member that has been consumig an intoxicant, one hour credit per ride and petition for a deferred sentence after 6 months if obligations are completed and no violations.

• Ryan S. Johnson, pleads guilty to amended charges of negligent driving in the first degree, driving likely to endanger any person or property and exhibiting the effects of having consumed liquor, sentenced to 90 days of jail, 89 suspended and fines totalling $593. Community service in lieu of $250, at the rate of $17 an hour, approved in advance by probation and completed by Oct. 31, 2025. No violations of law or alcohol related infractions, supervised probation for 12 months and obtain an expanded alcohol assessment by Nov. 29, 2024. Defendant granted a dollar-for-dollar credit, applied to fine, for any out-of-pocket expenses paid for victim impact panel. Defendant may earn up to 6 hours of community service providing designated rides home to a friend or family member that has been consumig an intoxicant, one hour credit per ride.

• Cale Crider, was found guilty of driving under the influence sentenced to 364 days of jail, 363 suspended and fines totalling $1,600 to be paid by Dec. 31, 2025. Community service in lieu of $1,000 at $17 an hour, completed by Oct. 31, 2025. Defendant can’t drive without a license and can not have any criminal violations of law and comply with Department of Licensing rules. Supervised probation for 24 months, unsupervised for last 12 months if all requirements are met and must obtain an expanded alcohol assessment from an approved agency with filed proof by Nov. 29, 2024. Defendant must attend a driving under the influence victim panel within 3 months, an not possess alcohol are drug, driving privilege suspended for 90 days. Defendant is granted a dollar-for-dollar credit, applied to fine, for any out-of-pocket expenses paid for victim impact panel and can petition for early termination of probation after 12 months and successful completion of all terms of judgement and sentence.
