Administrative Variance Application No. AV-24-03
1005 SW Crestview Street
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Pullman Community Development Director has made a determination to approve Zoning Code Administrative Variance Application No. AV-24-03. Administrative Variance Application No. AV-24-03 involves a request by Greg Lasich, on behalf of Jim and Ruth Henshaw, at 1005 SW Crestview Street. The specific exception requested is to allow a proposed shop to be 9.5 inches taller in height and 6 inches closer to the rear property line. The subject property is zoned R1 Single-Family Residential; the standard accessory structure height limit is 16 feet and the standard rear setback is a minimum of 10 feet. The Pullman zoning code allows for up to a fifteen percent reduction in setbacks and a five percent increase in building height from the amount allowed in the zoning district in which the subject property is located, if approval is granted by the Community Development Director through the administrative variance process. The Community Development Director’s decision is to approve Administrative Variance Application No. AV-24-03 without conditions.
Further information regarding this matter is available for review Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Planning Division office in Pullman City Hall, 190 SE Crestview Street, Building A. The Community Development Director’s decision related to this administrative variance application may be appealed in accordance with the provisions of Zoning Code Chapter 17.185. In order to be valid, a complete appeal of said decision must be filed with the Planning Division by December 2, 2024.
