COLFAX — Athenaeum held its annual Chirstmas Luncheon, Friday, Dec.6, at the Colfax Lutheran Church.
The yearbook commitee beautifully decorated the room including Chirstmas inspired table centerpieces handmade by Jill Gfeller. Using the year’s theme, “First Ladies,” the lunceon featured foods from recipes by Hillary Clinton and Nancy Reagan with handmade and decorated gingerbread ornaments using a Michelle Obama recipe.
The event closed with forner Colfax High School choir teacher, Cary Cammack, leading the group in the singing of Christmas carols.
The Anthenaeum will host the next meeting Jan. 17, 2025, at the Hill-Ray, 801 South Vista Point Drive.
