Harvest Hills agreement considered

COLFAX — The Whitman County Commissioners are considering a proposed “Whitman County-Harvest Hills LLC-Cost Reimbursement Agreement” during the regular Monday, Jan. 6, meeting.

Whitman County ordinances and fee schedules require Harvest Hills, the applicant for a commercial energy facility to pay the processing costs associated with review of State Environmental Police Act (SEPA) and Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) compliance and all County activities necessary prior to submittal of a Conditional Use Permit (CUP).
