Pullman man allegedly stabbed over a cat

Dec. 21 stabbing allegedly due to altercation over suspect’s cat

PULLMAN — The Police Department has completed an investigation into the stabbing of a 34-year-old Pullman man early morning Saturday, Dec. 21.

Officers responded to a call at approximately 2 a.m. in an area north of the Mobil gas station on Grand Avenue.

According to reports, the investigation determined the man, whose name was not released by the city, was stabbed in the abdomen with scissors by a 19-year-old Pullman man during an altercation over the suspect’s cat.

The man was transferred to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane to be treated and released.
