ROSALIA - Both the Tekoa-Rosalia Timberwolves boys and girls basketball teams played a pair of matchups against the St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse (SJEL) Eagles and the Oakesdale Nighthawks to start the new year.

The Timberwolves boys fell to SJEL, 67-40, on Friday, Jan. 3, before trailing the Timberwolves, 62-20, the next night on Saturday, Jan. 4. The Tekoa-Rosalia girls defeated the Eagles, 64-13, before falling to the Nighthawks, 53-14, the same nights.
