Colfax Bulldogs basketball continues League play

COLFAX — As the season progresses, the Colfax Bulldogs boys and girls basketball teams continued Northeast 2B League play last week.

The Bulldogs boys defeated the Upper Columbia Academy (UCA) Lions and the Liberty (Spangle) Lancers while the girls beat the Lions and fell to the Lancers.

In a Northeast 2B league victory, the Colfax Bulldogs defeated the Lions, 70-27, on Tuesday, Jan. 14.

The Bulldogs held the Lions to single digits in each quarter while scoring double digits in three of the four. Colfax gained a 22-7 lead to end the first quarter and held a 40-15 lead at halftime.
