LaCrosse School District #126 will receive Bids for the above project at School District Administrative Offices located at LaCrosse School, 111 Hill Avenue, LaCrosse, WA 99143 until 3:00 PM, prevailing local time on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Make all Bids to the attention of Doug Curtis, School District Superintendent. All Bids should be inclusive of all labor and material costs related to the scope of work identified in the drawings and specifications excluding sales tax, per Washington State requirements. PLEASE INCLUDE THE HEADING: ‘BID ENCLOSED – CONNECTOR VESTIBULE. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure the Bid was received.

The scope of work includes the following: Construct new Vestibule Connector Building between the Gymnasium Building and the Main Building.

Castellaw Kom Architects (CKA) will administer this contract for LaCrosse School District #126.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec 10, 2024 @ 3:00 PM prevailing local time at LaCrosse School, 111 Hill Avenue, LaCrosse, Washington. A separate walk through can be scheduled at the school by calling either Doug Curtis (School District Superintendent) or Randy Bennett (School Maintenance Director) at (509) 549-3591.

Bids shall be based on provisions of RCW §36.32.250 (Competitive Bidding Procedures), RCW §39.08 (Contractors Bond), and RCW §39.12 (Prevailing Wages on Public Works) of the Revised Code of Washington

Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates are applicable to this scope of work. All workers shall receive an hourly wage meeting prevailing wage requirements.

The contractor will be required to maintain Contactors Liability Insurance to include Workman’s Compensation (statutory), Employers Liability ($1,000,000) and comprehensive General Liability ($1,000,000 combined single limits for bodily injury and property damage). Include a certificate of insurance upon bid award.

All Contractors must have a Public Works Contractors license as suitable for work to be accomplished on this contract.

A bid bond (in the amount of 5%) and performance and payment bonds are required for this project.

Hard copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS are also available at an expense of $250 per set (limit 2 sets geneal contractors & 1 set subcontractors). Electronic copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be available for Planholders only. All ADDENDA will be emailed and mailed to Planholders only.
