COLFAX — Whitman County District Court reported the following criminal case dispositions from Nov. 22

Brayan Calvario, was found guilty of possession of liquor under the age of 21 and charges of third-degree driving with a suspended license have been dismissed. The defendant is sentenced to one day of jail, which can be converted to 12 hours and may be done out of county at the defendant’s expense. The defendant has $343 in total fines due by Oct. 31, 2025, and may perform community service in lieu of $300 of fines, credited at the rate of $17 an hour and approved in advance by the probation department. Community service must be completed by April 30, 2025. The defendant has supervised probation for 12 months and must obtain a substance use disorder evaluation approved and filed by Dec. 27, 2024. Defendant may either complete a SUD evaluation and recommended treatment and after verification, UA testing will end or forgo the SUD evaluation and be subject to random testing. The defendant shall be granted the opportunity to petition the court for a deferred sentence after 12 months if he has complete compliance with all conditions of the sentence.
